AFAS Provides $1 Million Dollar Grant to The Air Force Enlisted Village
WASHINGTON, June 26, 2018 – The Air Force Aid Society today announced a $1 million grant to the Air Force Enlisted Village to complete a $3 million renovation community center project.
The grant will be used to fund construction updates to the Bob Hope Village Community Center, which will undergo a complete interior building redesign. The 30-year-old facility has historically been used for social events, fitness and wellness programs year-round for residents. The entire Bob Hope community houses more than 430 senior residents in 350 independent living apartments.
The Air Force Aid Society launches a free, financial budgeting app to help U.S. Airmen manage and track their money
Washington, DC—The Air Force Aid Society (AFAS), the official charity of the U.S. Air Force, today announced the launch of the AFAS Budget Builder App. AFAS launches the app in conjunction with Military Saves Week, February 26 – March 3. Military Saves Week is an annual opportunity created to promote good savings behavior and a chance for service members and their families to assess their own saving status.
AFAS Announces New Merit Scholarship Recipients
