Types of Assistance
Standard Assistance
AFAS Standard Assistance is intended to help Airmen stabilize emergency situations with a substantial financial impact. The collaborative process includes establishing a budget for long term financial stability. Standard Assistance can be in the form of a no-interest loan, a grant or a combination of the two.
Falcon Loans
The AFAS Falcon Loan is an expedited, no-interest loan of up to $1,000. The streamlined application process allows for quick support when time and resources are limited.
