Financial Assistance
AFAS financial assistance is intended to help Airmen and Guardians stabilize emergency situations with a substantial financial impact. The process includes establishing a budget for long-term financial stability. Financial assistance can be an interest-free loan, a grant, or a combination of the two.
Falcon Assistance
Falcon Assistance is now part of the standard application process (as of June 1, 2025). It is no longer a separate process. All financial assistance requests, including interest-free loans for urgent needs, is handled through one application process. This provides applicants quick and consistent support.
